How about Compaq SCSII card? I have heard they are messy, but isn't compaq the number 1 computer company in the US? Maybe for individuals it may not be a big issue, but if FreeBSD is to get into the corporate market this is one computer that we need to keep in mind. For instance I was trying to install FreeBSD in a Compaq at work. After searching the archives I came to the conclusion that I am simply not going to be able to install it on that computer (SCSII drive and CD rom connected to Compaq SCSII card)
