FreeBSD xen08.xenvms.de 8.3-STABLE FreeBSD 8.3-STABLE #1: Wed May 2 00:32:40 CEST 2012 root@xen.xenvms.de:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/XENHVM amd64
>Description:
I did a portupgrade on a system with openssh from ports and replace_base ssh enabled.
Upon start it said
Could not load host key: /etc/ssh/ssh_host_ecdsa_key
This file is expected by the /etc/ssh/sshd_config from the port.

>How-To-Repeat:
Install older version of openssh from ports and replace base
then upgrade to 5.3+ openssh.
>Fix:
Normally FreeBSD builds the keys at start of the init script.
A fix will probably have to worry about replacing /etc/rc.d/ssh.
