A recent article (this month's The Economist, fwiw) tried to
compare Gillette launching a new version of its razor (the
much-vamped Mach3) with MS's constant product revisions...  It
was disappointing that, while the article accurately identified
MS constant upgrades annoying consumers, it totally failed to
grasp *why* (since the article's comparison doesn't fit in its
context)...  :-(
