Why was this necessary?  It's been like that for three months now, and
it hasn't hurt anybody.  If it was in the wrong place, it was placed
there with the full knowledge of at least three core team members, one
of who looked over my shoulder when I did it.  So far I haven't seen
anything that even explains what's wrong.
