Hello,

does anybody else have these problems?

with xxgdb on FreeBSD-Relese 4.4 and XFree86 4.1.0
	Backspace (also ^H) is inoperative
it just beeps (at BOL it inserts a space and beeps then)
	Mouse cut&paste is garbled
that means there is some reproducible functionality but
it has nothing to do with what is defined in app-defaults
		and is practically unuseable
also, the text cursor is not the usual upward caret. Instead it
	is a hollow bold cursor.

I have looked into the source and it seems this does not come from the
xxgdb stuff, but from the Xt and Xaw functions.

The same thing also appears with FreeBSD-Release 4.2 and XFree 4.0.2

This seems not to be related to the thing reported in bin/30993, which
only appears with FreeBSD 4.4 and not with 4.2

Any ideas?

rgds,
PMc
