This occurs when qt doesn't remove itself cleanly (bad pkg-plist). Check
to see if you've got a /usr/X11R6/mkspecs directory and if it's sparsely
populated; it shouldn't be there.  You can remove it, the correct location
is /usr/X11R6/share/qt/mkspecs for qt-3.1.2_1.
