I got a server running 4.5. The problem is that when I try to start =
smtp in inetd.conf it tells me all this stuff about it not being able to =
create the smtp socket because it's in use or something.. But it starts =
the server in some form, when I telnet to the server through the smtp =
port it tells me the servername and everything, but when I type anything =
and send it a command it replies with a:

502 unimplemented (#5.5.1)

Has anybody ever had this problem? I would appreciate any help at all =
about this.
