This panic should certainly be studied by a kernel hacker.  You should
keep the kernel dump.  I'm not enough experienced to help you here,
maybe jeff, tegge or truckman could help you here.

Did you try the -b flag from fsck_ffs(8) ?  You can get the location
of other superblocks with the dumpfs(8) utility.
