So, my /etc/nsmb.conf: [default] workgroup=QSUEDFAC #[SERVER] addr=10.4.1.1 #[SERVER:qsecadm] password=xxxxxxx My /etc/fstab entry: //qsecadm@QSUEDFAC/sfimages /mnt1 smbfs rw,noauto 0 0 So, if i do a "mount /mnt1" i will always be prompted to enter the password. I also tried it with ~/.nsmbrc and the entries above for nsmb.conf, same problem. What could be the problem? I need the share be automounted via startup without a password (i wrote a startup-script under /usr/local/etc/rc.d which mounts /mnt1 on startup)? Thanks in advance. asg
