Not anywhere near the bay area, but ftp://ftp.dk.FreeBSD.org/ has most of what originally was at ftp.FreeBSD.org, and the 4.3-RELEASE. It's missing *alpha* (due to disk space limitations), and some of the packages, due to the poor access to ftp.FreeBSD.org.
