Hello,

This may be due to a bug in 3.1-Release, where you must have the
distributions directly under c:\ and not c:\FreeBSD\ - have a look in
the mailing lists archives.

I have looked in http://www.freebsd.org/releases/3.1R/errata.html and I
don't find anything - Strange (furthermore the link to ERRATA.TXT seems
to be broken :
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/3.1-RELEASE/ERRATA.TXT - it
does not fit in the new "branches" scheme)
