Hi, i am new to FreeBSD, i wants to install NIS server on my BSD machine, but: Using Linux slackware, i got ypserv-1.3.5.tar.gz, can i untar it and compile it for bsd ? This nis package, needs libc6 (wich includes support to shadow, ethers, etc, libc5 does not include this support), so will i have to update my libc on bsd ?
