I'm trying to rebuild the kernel on a 2.2.8 machine (I've built several on the machine already) but now when I reboot I get the following error when getting to the text segment: Error: C:1837 > 1023 (BIOS Limit) and it doesn't boot. The config file is the same as the generic right now with the exception of the SCSI controllers are commented out. Any ideas what can cause this? I'm also stuck at 2.2.8 because of the Real Audio stuff that won't run under 3.x on this machine (I've tried it).
