Its not a big deal, but it eases my daily pkg_add life a bit :) I created a port and submitted it as ports/118397. Example: % pkg_search fvwm2 fvwm2-i18n-imlib-2.4.20_1 Popular virtual window manager for X % pkg_search -i fvwm2 Name : fvwm2-i18n-imlib-2.4.20_1-50 Dir : /usr/ports/x11-wm/fvwm2-i18n Desc : Popular virtual window manager for X URL : http://www.fvwm.org/ Deps : compositeproto-0.4 [...] You can find it and a man page here: http://www.mathematik.uni-marburg.de/~schmidtm/pkg_search/ BTW: It works under DragonFly as well. {Net,Open}BSD might work as well (with possible adoption), but I don't have machines here to test.
