Seems some are upset with my statements because I have a "@freebsd.org" email address. So let me expound on my statement a little. "crap" should refer to the installation on sparc and pmax. Not the OS itself. I obviously cannot comment on the OS itself since I wasn't able to get it installed. I stand by my "rushed" statement as I was unable to get it installed on two different fully supported, non-experimental architectures. And NO I don't speak for FreeBSD as a whole (incase there was any doubt about that) I am not a core member, not did I ever say I was speaking for FreeBSD in this thread. I use a "Respond-to:" header that has a freebsd.org address because I like to read my freebsd lists mail on via my freebsd account. That is all there is to it -- nothing more. I like old machines and I like to try various OS's on them. -- -- David (obrien@NUXI.com -or- obrien@FreeBSD.org) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-sparc" in the body of the message
