>Description:
Mr. Devin Teske reported on the freebsd-questions list that the switches --uid and --gid would result in an option not implemented failure, although these options are advertised in the manpage [1]. While looking through the source the option indeed seemed not to be there [2]. It was added to the manpage as part of a cleanup process [3].

>How-To-Repeat:
execute tar to create an archive with as options "--uid 1337" or "--gid 1337".
>Fix:
Implement the feature or clean the manpage.
