We have some T42s (2373-BGU I think, but that's from memory). While there is no serial port connector on the notebook, the port replicator (Thinkpad mini dock?) has a serial port and it works fine (regular COM1 interface) with NetBSD 2.0 (so therefore I'd be stunned if it didn't work with FreeBSD). Similarly for an X31 with a port replicator or an X3 'media slice'. -- Greg Troxel <gdt@ir.bbn.com>
