The following reply was made to PR ports/28186; it has been noted by GNATS. Take a look at: ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/proftpd-1.2.2rc2.tar.bz2 It's archived from a while ago, it's MUCH longer than 25K (whee.. such a feature-ful FTP server in 25K? :), and it has the correct MD5 checksum. I guess ftp.proftpd.net shall fix their distribution directory someday, and all the mirrors (including dataguard.no) shall resync with the 'real' distfile automatically. Until then, fetch it manually from ftp.FreeBSD.org or most other FreeBSD mirrors. G'luck, Peter -- No language can express every thought unambiguously, least of all this one.
