ATAPI-CAM?  I thought patches were committed to -CURRENT to add support
for some of the CAM ioctls to the ATAPI driver, but the patches to move
ATAPI under CAM were rejected.  (I had forgotten about the former
patches, though.)

Hm, I dropped a specifier:  it's "Ultrabay 2000" that has the obnoxious
new behavior, the older Ultrabay (and Ultrabay II?) probably hotswap
fine.
