I fetched 1.57 yesterday |and under Solaris 2.3 'cw' doesn't work (it executes the replacement text |as commands!), and under BSD/386 1.1, cursor positioning is sometimes |random. This version is running fine under fbsd2.1.0 release, no serious problems yet. I had the same problem under SunOS/Solaris, but Keith told me it was due to the Sun compiler. Recompiling v_txt.c without any optimisation fixed the cw problem. There is one jumping cursor problem when you hit ESC followed by a 'l' or a 'b', it jumps to the status line. But note this is ALPHA software, and not one of Keith's public releases... Gert-Jan --------------------------------------------------------------------------- J.G.
