seems like someone just needs to commit this patch.

Audit-trail says that the originator's gzipped description of how to get
Mathematica running could no longer be found on the FTP site. I contacted the
originator and asked for this document or more preferrably an updated copy of
the procedure which could be DocBook'ized. If he doesn't have either and it's a
non-issue, we can close this one for lack of anything else to do on it.....

Looked this over and wondered if this truly is "necessary." If was deemed by
the FDP as "not really necessary" would the PR be closed out without action
taken? The script that would need to be written seems like it would be fairly
trivial given the originator's suggestion to use "lynx -dump -head," but, I'd
rather not right it if it will serve little purpose. Do members of the FDP need
a script or method to determine which mirrors web are up-to-date?

I submitted a followup with a patch to this one ....

I submitted a followup with a patch to this one ....

Long audit trail on this one. It appears that Nick Sanders and Crist J. Clark
have hacked up the appropriate changes to the timed man page. It looks like the
"diff" listed at the end of the audit trail just needs to be once'd-over and
committed.

fix committed two days ago.

That's about all I could do in 1 sitting ;-) Will work on more later.
