hi, i have a question to the dac960pu: can this controller under firmware 2.x work with LVD drives bigger than 9gig? i would like to know this before i order drives. 2nd thing: with 4.7R i still had this error: /kernel: mlx0: I/O error - attempt to write beyond end of drive the workaround from here: http://www.geocrawler.com/archives/3/168/2001/5/50/5707924/ works well... and doesnt crash the machine. im not sure if this is a alpha-only problem but it doesnt seem so: -> http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=kern/21220 critical, open since 4.1R ... i could provide a alpha hanging on a serial console for testing if that would help... greetings, cjm
