        Nice one Compaq - unfortunately it's an ESS Solo1 in the 1690. I've
been trying to get it to work in SBPro mode for the last couple of days.

        I can confirm that having Windows at the end of the disk is not
sufficient :( I use a really sick little script to avoid the 60 minute suspend
to disk crash.
