hmm.  is there going to be anything in the nature of a coo-ordinated
release for this ? (similar to, but perhaps a little bit more than
the RC releases.. it's been good to acctually get some heads up this
time before a release..)

e.g get it uploaded to ftp-master - then get a bunch of sites to
mirror it from there and then an official announcement which
points people to the (known?) sites that are making it available 
at the time of release (plus the mirror list for others)

we might get a bit more distributed release than the usual everyone
hits ftp.freebsd.org this way.. and in the past freebsd releases
generally seem to spike the net quite well.
