I have no experience with the nForce2 boards.
That said, I'm using an ASUS A7V8X-X VIA KT400 w/ audio board with an Athlon
XP 2000+ CPU and 512MB PC-2700 DDR333 RAM running FreeBSD 4.8.
I have had no problems and am happy with my choice.
