Laptops aren't a great platform for FreeBSD, since the manufacturers cut
corners like mad.  I have it on a Digital HiNote and it works fine (but I
doubt you can buy new HiNotes anymore).

If you want to be in the cool department, find a cheap Toshiba Libretto.
