The two graphical configurations wouldn't :start either. I tried the text-version as of my best..... :But no. You'll need to tell us the errors that you're getting when trying to start X. "But X won't start" just isn't enough. :I wander, :Is there no less (and zless)? Can't find it. It does come with "more" though. :Is there no lynx? It's hard to read the html-manuals :with more or vi. :Do I have to install these programs. Are they available for BSD? Programs like less, zless, and lynx don't come with the standard distribution. You'll have to either build them (You can find them all in the ports collection), or install them as packages. Unlike Linux, *BSD comes as a very "base" system. You get enough to get the system up and running, adding additional programs/applications is up to you.
