hi all, i'm trying to use the sortlist option of bind 8.2 where i define: hostname IN A 192.168.1.1 IN A 192.168.2.1 IN A 192.168.3.1 the effect that i want is that when a client computer that belongs to the network 192.168.1.0/24 should always get 192.168.1.1 when it queries bind for the IP address of `hostname.domain.com', computers on the 192.168.2.0/24 should always resolve to 192.168.2.1 when it queries bind for `hostname.domain.com', and so on and so forth. i don't know if this can be done using the `sortlist' option. can someone give me examples or pointers on how to implement this? thanks! -- francis vidal university of st. la salle, bacolod city, philippines . . . . . . .
