If nobody else has started on this already, I'll try to cull a list of 
our current tunables and put a skeleton together today.

I'm not sure how I feel about documenting these in the loader help; it's 
starting to get pretty enormous.  Maybe we need a way of reading catpages 
from the loader? 8) 8) 8)
