I am running 4.3-Stable last updated on April 23 on a 2450 with the
PERC3/Si SCSI and two 30 GB disks configured as a RAID 1 mirror
container. It works fine for me.

Could you provide a bit more detail about the failure? Have you
configured the container(s) in BIOS? Are you running at least
4.3-Release? What does dmesg show? What's in your kernel config?
