It was suggested recently by the re@ team that it would be a good idea
to document the major changes made to the ports collection for
inclusion with the release notes.  For example, noting upgrades to
major port suites like KDE, GNOME and XFree86; major infrastructural
and feature changes to the ports collection itself, etc.

Is there someone from the doc and ports projects who would be
interesting in getting such a thing started?
