I'm trying to install netscape via the ports without success. I'm running 4.0-stable with Xfree86-4. Running "make insall" results in an error like "There do not appear to be any a.out libraries on this machine". This happens when the XFree86-aoutlibs-3.3.3 is installed as a dependency. Well, I can see the missmatch in version between the two XFree86-versions. But I can't think it is not possible to use netscape with XFree86-4 on FreeBSD. Did anyone had any success in this subject? (..and I have installed all those compat3,2x-packages) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
