Subject:   Hacking objcopy

Would anyone have any objections to me hacking objcopy so that it could do the 
following -

a) Change symbol names from one thing to another

b) Add/remove dependencies on other shared objects.

If I submit these changes, what chance do I have of getting them made 
"official"?
