Well, I don't happen to use 4.0, I use 3.4 - do i have to upgrade?

dmesg | grep wd0: (thou I think this is unnecessary as I use 3.4)
wd0: 6150MB (12596850 sectors), 13330 cyls, 15 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S
