When I buy myself a lapotp, there > won't be windows.... Check out ports. Read about the ports system in the handbook and then cd to /usr/ports and start looking for things that would work for you. From /usr/ports try running make search=string to look for something. For example enter make search name="cad" NOTE that most ports need to be installed with root.
