So who's behind autotools@ now? Ade was doing hell of > a good job maintaining GNU autocrap^W^Wthose ports. It has been more than a year now that tijl has been leading the autotools maintenance taking over the autotools support, improving a lot the situation on FreeBSD by fixing lots of issues with libtool (on freebsd): the naming of the libraries which was wrong, overlinking (via libtool.mk and upstreaming things). Making the autotools regeneration (autoreconf) working almost ootb= for all ports which correctly uses (upstream part) autotools via autoreconf.mk. And also cleaning up all the different concurrent version available in port= s so we can now live with only one single version for all but autoconf.
