This often results in a 5 to 10 times speedup. Hm. It seems that this is very cool tool. I would glad to see it in FreeBSD. Since I've 5 branch compiles tooooo long and fast systems for compilation does not always available/possible to use while development. I volonteer to test this if needed. rik > > It can benefit both individual developers (less burden to test changes > via full buildworld), and tinderboxes. > > Another interesting use is for package building cluster - it should be > possible to set-up NFS folder shared among all nodes to hold cached > objects for all ports in the tree to reduce turnaround time by the > order of magnitude. > > -Maxim > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-current@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-current > To unsubscribe, send any mail to > "freebsd-current-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" > >
