works fine on freescale VF50

% sysctl vm.pmap.sp_enabled
vm.pmap.sp_enabled: 1

% forkbomb -M -l 32 --runasroot --quit
Safety alarm at 300 sec. enabled.
Actions: alloc 32 MB (step 4096 kB) and touch it.
Forkbomb 1.4 started.
