If you were pulling 2 A, that's be the same approximate amount as many
2 x 1U servers. Nate's right -- something is wrong there (this is
particularly true if you're in Europe because you'd be pulling less
current per device as the voltage is actually 240V RMS based, not 120V
RMS based).
