It'll be tight, depending on what you put on.  you need to have enough 
space either on there or on another FreeBSD machine to build a new kernel 
for.  You _want_ to apply the Nomad PCMCIA patches.

No problem there, if you have a supported modem.

You can ftp freebsd from ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/.  I'm not sure what you 
mean by the "www software".
