No one sent a reply to this message, so I'm bringing it up again. What I'm asking can't be that difficult -- I'm just new to FreeBSD. I'd like to get FreeBSD Release-2.2.7 installed on a server that has an AdvanSys ABP-940U PCI host adapter. Unfortunately, the AdvanSys is supported only through the CAM package. How do I get FreeBSD onto this computer? I have a machine with a Symbios (ncr) '875 chipset that I could install to first and then patch with the CAM package. Is there some way to use the computer with the Symbios card to build installation disks or something similar so that I could install to the machine with the AdvanSys? So, FreeBSD gurus, How do I get FreeBSD onto my AdvanSys-based server? Thanks. .______ | Vijay N.
