As you probably know, a lot of mentally retarded individuals are doing
things like registering
MY.MICROSOFT.COMPANY.IS.BETTER.THAN.YOURPENIS.ORG as a nameserver in an
effort to make it difficult to whois microsoft.com.

Now sendmail doesn't like it.
