When using it in DMA mode, constantly write timeouts occur, and that happens more and more as time passes. The dmesg line is this: atapci0: port 0xffa0-0xffaf at device 7.1 on pci0 I can use hw.ata.ata_dma=0, indeed, and that is what I am using now. However, this is not completely satisfactory, as Windows, Linux, NetBSD and OpenBSD do support UDMA33 without problems. Daan.
