for some odd reason my freebsd 4-r box 's sound works randomly wwhen playing CDs. when it comes to MIDI or playing mp3's it always works for my Soundblaster AW64, but for some reason my ATAPI dvd//cdrom acts up..the mixer settings dont change anything either when this happens...i know it plays the cd because i can see the light and all. it did this with linux slackware and redhat too a while ago. heres what i have in my kerenl for sound device sbc0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 5 drq 1 flags 0x15 device pcm thanks!!! carl To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
