But once I start up X, and try to use slrn & mutt in xterm, with cons25 defined as the TERM, text becomes slightly garbled. If I define TERM as xterm, then it works in Xterm(the terminal emulator),even though some colours don't show, but the text is garbled in the console. If I define TERM as xterm-color, then programs work under X in Xterm, but are definitely garbled in console. Is there a terminal setting that is fully functional in console and under Xterm in X ?
