I'm a newbie but not a first timer, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. I may have built a bad kernel. (config -r:make depend:make:make install). Possibly a bad world. There are the following annoying messages at boot up. config> di sio1 No such device: sio1 Invalid command or syntax. Type '?' for help. . repeated for every device I have commented out in the config file. . until config>q . I checked the Mail list archives on the web, found some other TRAP 12 posts but no answers.
