Not sure really.  My only experience is with the synaptics I have. 
However a google or two revealed a few people mentioning trying

      hint.psm.0.flags="0x1000"
	- or -
      hint.psm.0.flags="0x800"

in your /boot/device.hints.

You can always try it.
