According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Intel has reversed itself on its previous position and will now upgrade any customer's Pentium chip with no questions asked. You have to provide a credit card number for them to charge if you're a deadbeat and don't send the old one back, but that's essentially it. freefall's Pentium will be so upgraded as soon as Intel ships the part.
