I got fed up with my mother complaining that Windows 98 on her computer was crashing constantly. So yesterday I installed FreeBSD 4.6-stable with KDE3. I made her dekstop look as much as the old one did (as possible). She hardly noticed a difference and is doing all the things she could do in Windows. Yay 8) I might write up this experience into a more lengthy article, but, atleast now I dont have to deal with blue screens every ten minutes. Thanks a lot. FreeBSD rules! 8) - Evan To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-advocacy" in the body of the message
