Alex, thanks for the reply.. 

I'm able to login as a cyrus admin, infact cyrus is working perfectly. 
I think the problem I'm having has something todo with vhosts and 
web-cyradm. If I issue the command "php index.php> index.html" 
and point my browser to the non-php version I see a web page. 
But if I point to the index.php version I get a "infinite redirection" 
error. Try it out..
